Cloud is the newest character now available inside "Super Smash Bros."

The "Final Fantasy VII" alum was introduced to the game recently, and aside from him, players can also download a new stage filled with elements inspired by Cloud's role-playing game (RPG) roots, Eurogamer reported.

While Cloud is the newest member of the "Super Smash Bros." roster, there will still be two more additions coming in the near future.

The first of the two is Corrin, a character from "Fire Emblem Fates." Corrin takes to the battlefield with his trusty sword in hand, and he should be added to the game in February.

The other character coming to "Super Smash Bros." in the near future is Bayonetta. Unlike Corrin, an estimated time of arrival is not yet known for Bayonetta, so fans will simply have to stay in the loop to find that out.

Bayonetta has already been named as the final character being added to "Super Smash Bros.," and now, fans must also come to grips with the possibility that she may also be the last new fighter introduced in the series.

In a recent interview translated by the folks over at Source Gaming, "Super Smash Bros." director Masahiro Sakurai hinted at the possibility that the current game may be the last one of the series.

During the course of the interview, Sakurai admitted that he did not know whether there would be another "Smash" game.

While Sakurai has indicated that he is at the very least uncertain about what the future holds for the "Smash" series, it is worth noting that this is not the first time the director has hinted at the possibility that the franchise could be ending, according to Gamespot.

Still, with at least two more DLC characters coming to "Super Smash Bros.," fans will still have new things to look forward to in the near future.
