'Supernatural' season 11 spoilers: The Winchesters help in delivering a baby in episode 1 premiere

The CW

The next installment of The CW's long-running supernatural drama series "Supernatural" will premiere in less than a month, which means that fans of the Winchester brothers will finally find out what's in store for them.

Hypable has shared the official synopsis of the premiere episode, titled "Out of the Darkness, Into the Fire," which reads:

The Winchesters face their biggest threat ever - Picking up where the finale left off, Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) must deal with the Darkness that has been unleashed. Castiel (Misha Collins) deals with the effects of Rowena's (Ruth Connell) spell and recalls his brutal battle with Crowley (Mark A. Sheppard)."

Entertainment Weekly also recently posted the first photos of the premiere episode of season 11. In the photos, the Winchester brothers are seen inside a hospital but none of them appear to be sick.

But the photos also show the brothers assisting a female police officer in the hospital using a wheel chair, while dead bodies seem to be piled up all over the place. Another photo shows the same police officer holding a baby, while Dean guides them out of the building. Ultimately, the police officer hands the baby to another bloodied man.

Sam, meanwhile, is seen holding a gun and more dead bodies are scattered around him.

Meanwhile, Castiel also seems to be having a bloody battle of his own. The angel, who appears to be struggling, is shown stuck inside a dark wine cellar. He is also seen holding a knife as though about to attack someone.

The photos for the first episode of "Supernatural" season 11 can be found in the EW gallery.

Fans are looking forward to the fourth episode titled "Baby," which features the Winchester brothers inside Dean's iconic Impala automobile.

"Supernatural" season 11 premieres on Wednesday, Oct. 7, on The CW.
