"Supernatural" season 11 episode 7, titled "Plush," appears to be another monster-of-the-week plot. According to its official synopsis (via TV.com), the episode provides a little insight into the season's overall struggle as it reveals more of Sam's (Jared Padalecki) visions.

However, this is set to be more than just another episode where the brothers Sam and Dean (Jensen Ackles) fight a new monster as it will also see the return of Sheriff Donna (Briana Buckmaster). This will mark the third season in a row where the Sheriff makes a returning guest appearance.

Sheriff Donna first popped onto the show back in the season 9 episode "The Purge," where the brothers investigated a Pishtaco - a woman who fed on human fat. In the end, the woman's serial killer husband was taken down and the brothers, with Sheriff Donna, sent the Pishtaco back to Peru.

The synopsis states that a gruesome murder with supernatural elements to it forces Donna to call the Winchester brothers for help. A report from Cartermatt points out that it is likely the murderer is turning his or her victims into twisted human stuffed toys based on the episode's title.

While the episode will focus primarily on the new case with Sheriff Donna, Sam will be receiving more of his visions and will eventually seek God for his help, although it wasn't shown whether or not he'll be requesting a direct answer as to what these visions mean or if he seeks a different form of assistance.

Either way, the mere fact that Sam is turning to God's help will frustrate his brother Dean. The brothers have had a shaky relationship with God throughout the recent seasons of "Supernatural" and with their recent exploits with Metatron (Curtis Armstrong), it only makes sense that Dean wouldn't like Sam's approach in dealing with the visions.
