'Supernatural' season 11 spoilers: Jim Beaver and Steven Williams to return

When "Supernatural" season 11 returns, there will be more characters sharing the screen with Dean and Sam, both familiar and new faces. First on the line is WWE superstar The Miz, who will be appearing in episode 15 of the hit CW series.

As fans may have already heard, that particular installment is a wrestling-centric episode that takes the Winchester brothers "in the world of small town circuit wrestling." The Miz, whose real name is Michael "Mike" Mizanin, will play the role of a mega-competitive upstart pro wrestler named Shawn Harley.

The Miz's character debuting in "Supernatural" season 11 sounds like someone not to be trifled with because not only does he have the temper, he is also obsessed with becoming the strongest, most feared fighter in the ring and he will do whatever it takes to get to the top of the hierarchy.

While The Miz is known for his discus punch and killer figure-four leglock finishing move inside the wrestling ring, Buddy TV notes that he also showed his acting chops in a couple of shows on the USA Network, namely "Psych" and "Sirens."

The Miz won't be the only one gracing "Supernatural" season 11. Jim Beaver, who played the role of Sam and Dean's father figure Bobby Singer in previous seasons until he met his demise in season 7, will be back in episode 16 via flashbacks.

Along with Bobby is his good pal Rufus (played by Steven Williams), who was killed in season 6 of the series. In the said episode, Dean and Sam will investigate the same case that Bobby and Rufus once handled (supposed to be in season 5).

"There's a lot of great throwbacks to things that happened [in season 5]," executive producer Jeremy Carver told TV Line. One of which, he said, is "the wonderful relationship between Bobby and Rufus. That's going to be a really neat episode."

"Supernatural" season 11 returns on Jan. 20 on CW with an episode called "The Devil in the Details."
