A murder of horrific proportions that can only be done by someone out of this world will send Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean (Jensen Ackles) in a sleepy town in the upcoming episode of the long-running The CW series "Supernatural."

In "Plush," Cartermatt reports that the Winchester brothers will be approached by Sheriff Donna (guest star Briana Buckmaster) for help. An incident that spoke of supernatural connection took place in her jurisdiction. Someone was murdered brutally and she needed Sam and Dean's help to stop the killer before it could strike again. When the pair gets there, however, they will find themselves mystified, as they have to chase giant evil stuffed rabbits. Are these cuddle toys the killers?

Meanwhile, Sam's vision continues to bother him. As he asks for God's help to give him enlightenment, Dean will voice his disapproval. The older Winchester is frustrated that his brother still seeks answers from God, as help from Him has been scarce. This time, though, Sam sees someone trapped in a box on what seems like the rack in Hell. Who can this be?

Last episode, Castiel (Misha Collins) tracked down Metatron (Curtis Armstrong) who now works as a freelance videographer for the local news. The former Scribe of God refused to help the angel, however, as he had no intention of going back to the old ways. When Castel beat the hell out of him, Metatron agreed to part with a very old secret, a shocking revelation that explained why the Darkness was intent on destroying all of God's creation.

It turned out that the primordial force was God's sister, and He was forced to give her up to create the world. Now that the Darkness is back in the form of Amara (Emily Swallow), scores would be settled. While Castiel was busy getting intel from Metatron, Sam and Dean were hunting Amara. The trail led them to an abandoned asylum. When they eventually found her, Dean could not hurt her because of their unexplainable connection.

Amara also felt the same, as she grew fascinated with the first of God's creation that she encountered in her return. She almost killed Crowley (Mark Sheppard) when he threatened to slay Dean. The brothers were able to escape from the place alive and when they reunited with Castiel, they learned the truth of her existence.

"Supernatural" airs Wednesdays at 9 p.m. EST on The CW.
