The countdown for the premiere date of "Survivor" season 30, dubbed as "Survivor: Worlds Apart," has already begun as the upcoming release date inches closer.

According to Survivor Fandom, last year's three-team format will return this season. The 18 castaways will be divided into three groups: the White Collar tribe, which are comprised of a group of professionals; the Blue Collar tribe, which are composed of skilled workers; and the No Collar tribe, made up of free-spirited individuals.

Having three main factions means that each tribe will have six players each, all with the same background. They will try to outwit each other in order to retain a spot on an island in Nicaragua.

The list of castaways who will join the Masaya (White Collar) group includes:

  • Max Dawson, a 37-year-old media consultant who hails from Topanga, California

  • Joaquin Souberbielle, a 27-year-old marketing director living in Valley Stream, New York
