Bay (Vanessa Marano) will find her patience tested when she returns to school for the new semester in the second part of season 4 of ABC's teen/family drama series "Switched at Birth."

In "To Repel Ghosts," Wikia reports that Bay is still struggling after her breakup with Emmett (Sean Berdy). She still cannot figure out what went wrong with their relationship and this weighs heavily on her. Last season, the two separated after Emmett blamed her for what happened to Daphne (Katie Leclerc). Daphne was sexually assaulted by her ex-boyfriend at a party and Bay could not help but feel responsible. She did not expect, however, that her own boyfriend would also think badly of her.

As if her emotional state is not enough, Bay will also feel the discomfort of being scrutinized by her schoolmates. Yibada reports that her family's complaint on Tank's (Max Adler) supposedly taking advantage of her has led to the establishment of the anti-harassment policy in school and the whole student body knows it. Now, Bay has to deal with the stigma of what happened and she will find it an unpalatable experience.

Meanwhile, Daphne is getting along well with Mingo. Her excitement about her new relationship, however, will be hampered by her friend's obvious disapproval of him. To top it all off, she is worried that her low grades in chemistry will affect her scholarship.

Elsewhere, John (D.W. Moffett) will experience some financial problems while Regina (Constance Marie) will investigate Eric's (Terrell Tilford) ex-wife. Everyone will also be shocked by the news that someone is expecting a baby. While previous reports claim that the issue has something to do with Bay or Daphne, the new teaser now hints that it is Toby's (Lucas Grabeel) girlfriend who can be pregnant.

Enstarz reports that something serious is about to befall on Toby, which will leave him scared. This can be connected to the unplanned pregnancy storyline. An official photo showing Daphne talking to her brother also hints of a huge problem that the young man is facing.

"Switched at Birth" returns on Monday, Aug. 24 at 8 p.m. EST on ABC Family.
