U.S. carriers revealed teasers of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S6, which is as good as confirming the existence of the smartphone ahead of Samsung's press event next week. 

T-Mobile revealed a teaser image that shows the upcoming flagship smartphone ahead of its big reveal on March 1. The photo shows that the device will sport a metal casing. For years, Samsung fans have been criticizing the company's affinity to using plastic for the body. Then, the company switched to faux leather for some Galaxy Note smartphones. Now, new rumors claim that Samsung will finally yield to the clamor of waiting fans and the Galaxy S6 will either have an all-metal body or a metal frame, but a metallic component is in the cards. Still, this will not be the first time that the company will make use of metal trimmings since the new Galaxy A line sports a full metal body. 

The photo also shows that the new Samsung Galaxy S6 is designed with a curved screen panel. However, AT&T's source code fueled the rumors that a variant with a curved screen display is coming soon. At this point, it is still unconfirmed whether Samsung will unveil two smartphones or a single handset this year, but there is a high chance that the South Korean company will follow what it did with the latest generation of the Galaxy Note phablet series, wherein two smartphones were announced.  

Unfortunately, the teasers did not spill details on the forthcoming specs and features of the Samsung Galaxy S6 and its purported variant, the Galaxy S6 Edge. According to the ongoing rumors, the two smartphones will share similar specifications, including a 5-inch screen display with quad HD (2560 x 1440 pixels) resolution, Qualcomm's latest Snapdragon 810 SoC, Adreno 420 graphics co-processor, 4 GB of RAM, 16- or 20-megapixel back camera, an 8-megapixel front-facing camera, and longer battery life.

Samsung is still mum about the official details of the smartphones, and solid information is expected to be disclosed at the company's event on March 1.
