Fans of pop star Taylor Swift will get to consume their idol in a new platform: social media. The singer will be introducing a new way for her fans to converge in one place by launching her own app called "The Swift Life."

The multi-Grammy Award winner recently joined forces with mobile game developer and publisher Glu for her new digital entertainment venture, which the press release revealed is Swift's own "creative vision."

"'The Swift Life' provides a creative, inclusive and community-driven place for users to better connect with each other ... and Taylor!" the press release said.

President and CEO of Glu Nick Earl revealed that they worked side by side with the "Ready For It" singer and her team to successfully get the app off the ground and design "The Swift Life" the way she envisioned it to be.

"The result is a deeply social environment where Taylor and her fans are able to better connect with one another while expressing themselves in an interactive community. We look forward to its worldwide launch later this year," the executive added.

On the app, the fans of Swift, or Swifties as they call themselves, will be able to connect with the global pop star who will share exclusive content such as videos and photos.

"The Swift Life" will also give users and fans the chance to post and share stuff with their friends and fellow Swifties as they follow the life of Swift. The "Look What You Made Me Do" singer will also be interacting with her fans through their posts. She will be able to like and post her comments on them as well.

The app will also have its own stickers and "Taymojis" so Swift's supporters can express their love for her accurately and only a Swift fan would know how. Aside from these features, Swift's songs will also be added to the app on a weekly basis. There will also be a chat function for users too.

Swift is expected to drop the app later this year and hopes that fans will like her new endeavor.
