One of the things fans love about "Teen Wolf" season 5 is the strong friendship shared by Stiles and Scott. The best friends have been through a lot of rough times and they always have each other's backs. This will also be the case when "Teen Wolf" season 5B premieres.

During the New York Comic Con, Tyler Posey aka Scott revealed that his character will help Stiles get through his problems. "Stiles is going through a lot so Scott kind of lets him take out his aggression," the actor said. "Scott can take a punch, you know? He doesn't care," he added.

Posey said that in "Teen Wolf" season 5B, viewers will see Scott convince his best friend to take out his frustrations on him. In fact, he is willing to get beaten up just to free his best bud from the burden. However, this could be the last time fans will ever get to experience their friendship.

Rumor has it that Dylan O'Brien, who plays Stiles in the MTV series, could be leaving the show. In an interview with Forbes, showrunner Jeff Davis hinted that "The Maze Runner" star's skyrocketing movie career had him "[preparing himself] to lose him at some point."

Davis did not confirm the actor's exit but merely acknowledged the possibility. But what he made less vague than this is the fact that a "Teen Wolf" movie could actually be in the works. He revealed that Posey and he have been discussing the potential of the project.

Meanwhile, "Teen Wolf" season 5B is believed to be packed with horror. However, balancing this out is a good amount of action and humor, making it "much more hopeful [and] much more optimistic."

"Teen Wolf" season 5B premieres Jan. 5.
