While publisher Bandai Namco has not yet announced details about "Tekken 7," particularly its release date, fans are expecting some new information about the latest installment in the long-running and highly popular game franchise at the upcoming PlayStation Experience 2015 convention.

Although Bandai Namco has been selected as one of the guest publishers that will showcase at the event, the lineup of games for the convention itself is being held tightly under wraps both by the publisher and organizer Sony Entertainment. However, one highlight of the convention that Sony PlayStation did announce is a whole new keynote featuring the fighting games genre.

According to the announcement on the US PlayStation Blog, a fighting games panel will be one of the highlights of the PSX 2015. It will be held on the start day of the convention itself, Dec. 5, at 7 p.m. PST on the third floor of the Moscone West Hall. Gracing the event will be Katsuhiro Harada, game director for "Tekken 7." In addition, the panel will also be composed of Yoshinori Ono, producer of "Street Fighter V," and Seth Killian, a developer for "Rising Thunder."

Since Harada will be part of the panel, fans are expecting that some details about the upcoming "Tekken" installment will be revealed, particularly the release date for the title.

One confirmed detail that surfaced prior to the convention is that when "Tekken 7" releases, it will be without the "Tekken Tunes" feature. According to Yibada, Harada answered a fan question about the audio feature, saying that as of the moment, the feature is impossible to go through as they are still negotiating with Sony to put tunes in the console.

Audio-related features require an OS policy from Sony before games can use copyrighted materials on Sony consoles. However, once Bandai Namco gets the feature green-lighted, the feature may appear as a patch update for the title.
