Last Sunday on the Bravo special "The Real Housewives of New Jersey: Teresa Checks In," Joe Giudice talked about preparing for prison. The Gorgas and the Giudices were worried about the family because when Teresa leaves the federal prison in Danbury, Connecticut in a matter of months, it will be Joe's turn to serve his prison sentence for fraud. Teresa was sentenced to 15 months and will be released on Dec. 23, while Joe was sentenced to 41 months.

"We'll all deal with it the best way we can," said Joe on the show. "Hour by hour, one day at a time."

Talking to the family lawyer, James J. Leonard Jr., Joe said that initially when he committed fraud, he didnt know that he was doing anything wrong, but now he knows "it wasn't the right thing to do."

"I didn't know I was doing things wrong in the first place," he said to Leonard. "Basically, I committed some kind of fraud with mortgages, and know now it wasn't the right thing to do."

On his upcoming time in jail, the 43-year old said that he hasn't even thought about his prison sentence.

"I ain't even thinking about myself going to jail," said Joe. "When the time comes, you just go."

While Joe struggled with raising their daughters by himself while Teresa did her time in jail, he admitted that somehow, he and the girls grew closer because before, Teresa was the one who used to be with them all the time, while he spent most of his time working.

When Leonard reminded Joe that when Teresa is released, she will be under home confinement, Joe said that he couldn't wait until "this is all over."

"I've just got to take it day by day," he said.

Joe will start serving his prison sentence in March 2016.
