Teresa Giudice's release from prison is just a few days away, and her family and friends are said to be counting down the days until "The Real Housewives of New Jersey" star is free again.

And while some fans thought that the Giudices will be having a lavish Christmas party to welcome Teresa home, a new report claims that the family and Teresa are looking forward to a low-key celebration at their New Jersey home.

"All Teresa wants is a very low-key Christmas at home with her family," said a source to E! News. "She and Joe have had conversations about presents, yes, but it's not what matters."

The insider also said that the only thing that the mother of four cares about is coming home to her family and that the Giudices have no other plans apart from spending time together at their home.

Teresa has been in federal prison in Danbury, Connecticut since Jan. 5 for fraud. While in prison, the star is believed to have had regular weekend visits from husband Joe and their four daughters Gia, Gabriella, Audriana, and Milania.

Teresa's privileges also include phone calls to her family and she is also allowed to email people on an approved list in the prison's email system. She will be released for home confinement on Dec. 23.

The 43-year-old is expected to return for the eighth season of "The Real Housewives of New Jersey," which will reportedly start filming her scenes once she is released from prison. Teresa will also be launching her prison memoir, "Turning the Tables: From Housewife to Inmate and Back Again" next year.

Meanwhile, the family is said to be focusing on their time together instead of thinking of another impending separation, since Joe is set to begin his 41-month prison sentence sometime in March.

"No one's thinking about [Joe's prison term] right now," said the source. "No one's thinking beyond having Teresa home again."
