'The 100' season 2 spoilers: Will Chancellor Jaha be alive?

"The 100" Season 1 finale was a bit tough to stomach. Chancellor Jaha took one for the team as he decided to go down his ship. As they say, "The captain goes down with the ship" and Chancellor Jaha took this to heart.

He drank a bottle of alcohol that was supposed to be used for celebration. He awaited his impending death and gave a toast to those who made their way out. However, people couldn't believe that this was the end of Chancellor Jaha and it may not be.

At the San Diego Comic-Con, Isaiah Washington, who plays Jaha, spoiled a few things about Chancellor Jaha in the upcoming season. "He's not very well up there. A lot of strange things happen when you are dying slowly. You can die slowly for two seasons. You never know," Washington said.

Washington also added that Jaha's remaining time in the ship allowed him to think about his actions as a leader and how he regretted his decisions. "He executed 300 people and then realized that circumstances out of his control, he didn't have to. That doesn't erase the fact that he's the one who pushed the button. He can't point fingers at Kane or anyone else, he did it. It's interesting how you see him deal with the weight of all of that," he said.

As for Jaha's possible survival, can it even happen? Washington took to Twitter to share a photo of a person in a space suit and captioned it "Yeah I leaked it...#ChancellorJaha LIVES on @cwthe100."

According to BuddyTV, it could be Jaha trying to attempt to get to Earth and may already have lost his mind in the process. Then again, it's all just guesses relating to what Washington tweeted. It sure does add a whole new mystery surrounding the Chancellor's character in season 2.

And before parting, this is what Washington had to add: "Chancellor Jaha's fate is gonna be okay. You're going to be okay with it. You'll be in alignment with it. But, his presence is not going away ever."

CW's "The 100" will return on October 22 for season 2.
