Alexander Kirk (Ulrich Thomsen) still has Liz (Megan Boone) and her daughter Agnes, but his real motive for kidnapping them might be revealed in the upcoming episode of "The Blacklist" season 4.

In the season 4 premiere of "The Blacklist," Kirk still has Liz captive and he has managed to take her daughter — Agnes — as well. He claims to be the real father of Liz, Constantine Rostova, and forces Liz to come "home" with him.

In the trailer for episode 2, season 4 of "The Blacklist," Kirk brings Liz to a safe house, but it turns out to be an exact replica of Liz's childhood home. Despite everything that Kirk has shown her and Reddington (James Spader) calling Kirk by the name Constantine, Liz still refuses to trust Kirk's intentions.

Kirk reveals that he has a blood disorder and that he's dying. It is expected that Kirk is Liz's real father and that he abducted Liz and Agnes in order to perform a blood transfusion or a bone marrow transplant to cure himself.

Here is NBC's press release for "The Blacklist" season 4, episode 2 titled "Mato:"

"Red is going to enlist Tom and the Task Force to help track a notorious bounty hunter who may know Alexander Kirk's next move. In the meantime, Liz will end up struggling to decide if Kirk is trustworthy."

It seems that Red will be teaming up with Tom (Ryan Eggold) to find Kirk and finally get Liz and Agnes back to safety. According to Amir Arison — who plays Aram in "The Blacklist" — episode 2 will be action-filled and will feel "like a finale." Arison explains in an interview with Carter Matt, "I have to tell you that the season premiere and episode 2 ... so much happens. The premiere feels like a vintage 'Blacklist' premiere, but episode 2 feels like a finale. That's how much happens. That's how many bombs drop. It's exciting."

"The Blacklist" season 4 airs every Thursdays at 10 p.m. EDT on NBC.
