Liz (Megan Boone) will have to decide if she can bear having the baby without Tom (Ryan Eggold) by her side in the upcoming episode of the hit NBC series "The Blacklist."

In "Drexel," CarterMatt reports that the pregnant agent is close to making a decision regarding the baby she is carrying in her womb. Liz has been vocal of her wish to have the child adopted. She just does not want him to live in the kind of world his mother has. Liz knows that her work for the FBI will put her baby at risk. With such a dangerous way to live, there is no chance she and Tom will be able to raise him properly.

Red (James Spader), of course, is against Liz running away with Tom. In the promo, he is telling her that Tom is "reckless" and "not worthy" of being the father of her child nor of being her husband. Tom is currently fighting for his life after being betrayed by his ex-girlfriend, Gina Zanetakos (Margarita Levieva). He was left for dead after getting shot in a busted operation. The clip shows the doctors frantically trying to resuscitate him. At one point, it appears that Tom has flatlined. Will he survive his harrowing ordeal?

Liz is worried that he will not. She also has suspicions that Red had something to do with Tom's shooting. In the teaser, she is asking him if he is the one who hurt Tom. This is where Red tells her to drop the other guy, as he is just undeserving of her loyalty and love. The clip ends with Liz asking if Tom is going to be alright. Will his condition finally be the key to her final decision about the adoption?

Elsewhere, Red, Liz, and the FBI taskforce will track down a notorious killer who murdered the founder of an Internet start-up. They will reportedly be using "an underground news source" to capture him.

"The Blacklist" season 3 airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. EST on NBC.
