Bethesda is taking a plunge into the online competitive card game industry with "The Elder Scrolls: Legends" game. Its open beta is now open and players can now play a part in improving the game once it gets fully released.

In a report by Game Rant, "The Elder Scrolls: Legends" had its close beta period in April in order to have the game tested out for the PC. However, a closed environment seems to be insufficient for Bethesda, and in order to work on the game more, they'll need to receive more feedback which will be accomplished by giving everyone a chance to get involved by letting them get the game for free.

For those interested in joining the "Legends" open beta, they should have a PC and an internet connection. They will then need to download the Bethesda.net launcher, make an account if they have none yet, and finally download the game. As said beforehand, the game is completely free-to-play, but it is still worth noting that, some of the unlockable content in the game still requires payment. However, the good thing about it is that all of these will stay with them even after the game is fully launched.

According to Tech Times, "The Elder Scrolls: Legends" will walk the players through a single-player campaign, receiving five pre-made decks that can be customized the way users want it to be as they progress with the game. Alternatively, these can be used as starting points to construct completely new decks.

The game's goal is straightforward, since players only need to use their decks to damage their opponents and drop their life to zero. This can be achieved in various ways, but in the end it is all up to the player how they will carry this out through strategizing and sometimes luck.

"The Elder Scrolls: Legends" was first revealed at the E3 2015.
