The new strategic card game is part of the Elder Scrolls series which has sold more than forty million copies globally, according to a report.

The series had earned the 20th spot of the best video game franchises back in 2012, including the "Greatest Game Series of the Decade" in 2013 based on the GameSpot website.

The Elder Scrolls Legends game will be free to play, according to reports, and is similar to such games as the "Magic: The Gathering".

A release for the Android platform hasn't been mentioned and confirmed yet, but reports say it is possible the new game will be available for Android-based tablets shortly after.
