It was previously reported that Keiynon Lonsdale has been confirmed to suit up as Wally West aka Kid Flash in "The Flash" season 3. However, leaked set photos and videos also reveal that there will be a brand-new villain, a speedster clad in black. A report from Design and Trend now reveals who the actor is behind the mask.

According to the report, a video was leaked by Cap's Ulette via Twitter and this short clip showcases the actor removing the mask. With the mask off it is revealed to be Todd Lasance, who most recently played the character Julian on "The Vampire Diaries."

However, this is no guarantee that the actor is indeed cast as the main villain for season 3. According to Collider, the studios have yet to confirm if he is going to be a main part of the cast, indicating that he may either be a new cast member or just a stunt actor that will don the costume when fight scenes and CGI scenes are to be filmed. 

Fans speculate that he may indeed be a new official cast member as he already appeared in a CW show before. This would mean the studios already have some working experience with the actor and are already comfortable with putting him in a major role such as that of a season villain.

It is still a mystery as to who or what Lasance's character may be. The most popular theory is that he is portraying the Black Racer, a character from the DC Comics who is the embodiment of Death. The Black Racer has the ability to kill with a single touch and is known for chasing after speedsters who have cheated their own death one too many times.

It is possible that this Black Racer may be after Barry Allen aka the Flash (Grant Gustin) given that Barry cheated death and altered time several times in the past two seasons.
