Wally West (Keiynan Lonsdale) appeared as Kid Flash briefly during the "Flashpoint" event in the first few episodes of "The Flash" season 3. When Barry Allen, who is also known as the Flash (Grant Gustin), tried to fix the timeline, he did get most of the things right, but Wally West was again without any powers. That may all change following episode 6.

Titled "Shade," Wally is going to be getting dreams and nightmares, and while it is unknown if they have been triggered by the villain Alchemy, it is known they will give Wally hints that in the "Flashpoint" timeline, he was a speedster. According to the official synopsis, as per iDigital Times, Barry is going to discover this and talk to Wally about the truth.

Barry is speculated to tell Wally that in the "Flashpoint" timeline, the latter was indeed a speedster, but it is unknown if Barry is going to tell Wally how Kid Flash got his powers. This is because there is the possibility of Wally trying to replicate the incident since he has always been complaining how Jesse (Violett Beane) got powers but he did not.

There is also the possibility of Alchemy giving Wally his "Flashpoint" powers, and according to a report from the IBTimes, this may mean Kid Flash will temporarily become a villain who goes up against Barry. If this comes true, it is widely speculated he will not be a villain for long as he may lose his powers or even be killed off.

It is also peculiar to point out that the episode that follows is titled "Killer Frost" and may showcase Dr. Caitlin Snow (Danielle Panabaker) admitting she gained powers after the "Flashpoint" incident occurred. This may mean she will become a good version of the Earth-2 Killer Frost, or she, like Wally, may become a temporary villain.
