She will not like Carmen (Alicia Sixtos) and Brooke's (Alessandra Torresani) admission of their motives towards her and this will prompt her to reconsider. Mike will stumble upon an information connected to the hit-and-run driver. To his surprise, it will exactly fit Stef's theory about finding the culprit.

Episode 9 will be also be host to the Fosters' struggles and problems. The website reveals that viewers will see what Lena (Sherri Saum) and Stef are going through in their relationship. Apparently, their goal to produce a good home environment is being hampered by their fights.

Last week, Callie was caught in the middle of a mother-daughter scuffle. Chloe (Marcella Lentz-Pope) wanted Rita (Rosie O'Donnell) to finance her restaurant, but the latter had doubts. The young woman had apparently wasted a lot of money before on her business ventures and Rita was not keen to lose dough again. She then revealed to Callie that her daughter suffered from bipolar disorder.

Stef tracked down the fleeing driver to an alley and realized that he could have gotten in a bus to escape. Upon interviewing the bus driver that day, she got some valuable information on the possible location of the transgressor. Elsewhere, Callie and Brandon met up with a social worker and lied to their teeth that there was nothing going on between them that could jeopardize the adoption.

When he got home, however, he learned that the reason Callie was sent away was because his parents caught her kissing A.J. (Todd Williamson). Too angry to care, he yelled at them for not considering his feelings by accepting too many foster children in their house. Jude (Hayden Byerly) heard the argument and assumed that Stef and Lena were divorcing. During his math exam, he walked out and went to Rita for guidance. The older woman told him that his parents were just dealing with some problems of their own.

"The Fosters" airs Mondays at 8 p.m. EST on ABC Family.
