Alicia Florrick (Julianna Margulies) is desperate enough to steal clients from Louis Canning (Michael J. Fox) in the upcoming episode of the CBS series "The Good Wife."

In "Restraint," TV Guide reports that business is not faring well for the defense attorney and her partner Lucca Quinn (Cush Jumbo). With so few clients, Alicia's getting frantic and understandably so, as she has two children to feed. The two will reportedly conspire to steal clients from her archenemy. Will they succeed?

Meanwhile, Diane Lockhart (Christine Baranski) is also having one of her bad days as a case will force her to compromise her beliefs. In order to retain a client, she will be obligated to contend a controversial case between pro-choice and pro-life supporters. Diane is certainly not looking happy with her situation; in the promo released for episode 8, viewers will see her on the warpath. The clips shows her brazenly asking for a motion for substitution of judge.

Last episode, Alicia got involved in a case involving a self-driving car and a maimed employee. Canning was prosecuting and he wanted Alicia on the team. The CEO of the automotive company was being represented by Diane and Cary Agos (Matt Czuchry). The victim was test driving the car when an accident happened. This rendered him incapacitated and he was suing his firm for it.

Through some brilliant moves on Alicia's part, she got the original developer to testify that the car could have indeed caused the accident. The deal was sealed for the prosecution when she also learned, with Jason Crouse's (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) help, that hackers from inside the company were responsible for putting their client on a wheelchair. To celebrate her win, she had tequila with estranged husband Peter (Chris Noth), who was staying with her to win a sponsor.

"The Good Wife" season 7 airs Sundays at 9 p.m. EST on CBS.
