Captain Chandler (Eric Dane) and his crew will find themselves trapped in the upcoming episode of TNT's post-apocalyptic drama series "The Last Ship."

In "Cry Havoc," TV Guide reports that the Nathan James will be ensnared in a trap laid out by the Immunes. The great vessel will be wedged in between an avenging submarine and a civilian blockade set up by the Ramseys. Last episode, Chandler was able to nab the mastermind behind the enemy's communications network. But then, they will find themselves unable to flee due to the obstructions laid out by the Immunes.

Knowing that an inevitable showdown will soon commence, Chandler will put first things first, as he will ensure that Dr. Scott (Rhona Mitra) and the cure will be safe. He will devise a plan to get them off the ship. Cartermatt reports that it will be XO Slattery's (Adam Baldwin) job to protect both the doctor and the antidote they all worked so hard for.

What will happen in this standoff? It certainly appears that luck is leaning towards Ramsey's side. They have the sub and the civilians, where as Chandler only has a handful of soldiers with him. But of course, one cannot discount the Nathan James, with its full complement of state-of-the-art artillery. With their goal within reach, the good captain will not surrender easily, as he knows full well what losing will mean.

Last episode, Sean Ramsey (Brían F. O'Byrne) implicated the Navy with the disaster that rocked the American soil. Chandler and his team had to prove that they were innocent by finding evidences that the destruction was really the work of the enemy and not theirs. At the same time, they managed to trace where the Immune's signal was coming from, and they set out to find it.

The indicator pointed towards a mysterious platform in the middle of the ocean. When the squad arrived on the designated place, they were immediately greeted by gunshots from a group of adversaries intent on killing them. The opponents were, apparently, Ramsey's allies who agreed on the plan to infect the entire human race with the virus.

"The Last Ship" airs Sundays at 9 p.m. EST on TNT.
