Freya (Riley Voelkel) will go on big sister mode and protect her little siblings against a deadly curse in the upcoming episode of The CW series "The Originals."

In "Savior," TV.com reports that a spell will threaten to expose one of the Mikaelsons. Freya will need to act quickly to deflect the lethal hex and send it back to the source. It remains unsure though, which brother is the target, as Elijah (Daniel Gillies) and Klaus (Joseph Morgan) have their own enemies to be wary of. Who sent the curse that is meant to bare the Mikaelsons for what they are?

Meanwhile, Cami (Leah Pipes) will reportedly attempt to help Kinney (Jason Dohring). The detective is suffering from the after effects of Lucien's (Andrew Lees) intimidation. The last time viewers saw Cami, she was hustling to get away from her captors, only to run into Aurora (Rebecca Breeds). The vindictive vampire was out to get Klaus and she was jealous of his relationship with Cami. After Aurora bit her, she was transported to an unknown location in the trunk of a car.

As the synopsis suggests, Cami will somehow find a way to escape from Aurora. Does this mean Klaus succeeded in her plan to save her? The promo for episode 8 shows that the hybrid is done playing games and set out to take her down. He kidnaps her brother Tristan (Oliver Ackland) and instructs Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) to feed on him, thereby turning him into a werewolf-vampire hybrid.

Klaus was furious when he learned that Lucien held Cami captive in his apartment and left instructions to kill her if he encountered any harm at Mikaelsons' Thanksgiving dinner. That was when he also learned that Aurora has been hiding their sister Rebekah (Claire Holt) under the sea.

"The Originals" season 3 episode 9 will air on Dec. 10 at 9 p.m. EST on The CW.
