A lot of fans are disappointed with rumors that "The Real Housewives of Dallas" will not have a second season. However, recently there have been other rumors saying that this show will have another season soon.

According to the Inquisitr, producer Andy Cohen said that this show is not dead, and there might just be a season 2 in store for fans. Some fans are still skeptical about this, dismissing it as plain teasing, but at the same time it gives most of them a reason to believe that a new season is already in production.

After all, when he was interviewed by Entertainment Tonight, he said, "We're kind of taking a look at the women and the season, and figuring out how we move forward."

However, even with Cohen lending hopes to the show's fans to hold on and hope for the best, apparently the first season of "The Real Housewives of Dallas" did not do as well as a lot of people hoped. This is in terms of its TV ratings, and it was so bad that it was even considered to be one of the worst of the "Housewives" franchise after just airing for one season.

Even with 11 episodes, this series did not even even gain at least a million viewers. Christian Times points out that it could be possible that the show failed to deliver more entertainment based on what Cohen said in the interview. However, there might still be other things to be considered.

After all, there were some rumors about some of the ladies faking drama just to ensure a spot for them in the second season and subsequently generate more hype about it. However, considering how the show fared, it is still unsure how successful this ploy is, if ever the rumors are true.

The second season of "The Real Housewives of Dallas" is still unconfirmed, so fans should just wait for more updates.
