"The Real Housewives of New Jersey's" (RHONJ) Teresa Giudice may still be serving her prison time, but according to a recent report, she might just play another important role in the series.

A Sept. 30 report coming from The Real Mr. Housewife stated that network Bravo is considering suggestions from the reality star, especially when it comes to the cast for RHONJ season 7.

This news reportedly came from a production source that the publication had spoken to.

Giudice has been on the show with a full-time role since day one. For the past six seasons of RHONJ, several wives have been in and out from the show, but it seems that Giudice is a favorite of the show producers.

That may be the latest scoop, but it doesn't mean that Giudice would have the final say for the season 7 casting. Her suggestions may be considered, but she won't be giving the final word on what will work best for RHONJ.

Meanwhile, Giudice is set to appear in another reality series — Bravo's spinoff of RHONJ — later this month. The show will be called "The Real Housewives of New Jersey: Terese Checks In," and according to reports, it will be a three-part series that will chronicle the life of Giudice's husband, Joe, who struggles to raise their four young kids while the reality actress is being incarcerated.

Giudice will appear in the show through phone calls from the penitentiary. Latin Post also reported that she already signed up to rejoin RHONJ cast once she's finished serving her time, which is around Christmas.

"The Real Housewives of New Jersey" will resume its production by November and is slated to return to the network either in spring or summer next year.

Meanwhile, RHONJ and Giudice fans can watch out for the spin-off, which will air on Sunday, Oct. 11, at 8 p.m. EST on Bravo.
