Following her recent arrest for public drunkenness and resisting police arrest, reality television star Luann de Lesseps has stated that she will be checking herself into rehab for alcohol abuse. "The Real Housewives of New York City" cast member posted on her social media, informing her fans of her plans after her actions at Palm Beach, Florida. 

In de Lesseps official Twitter page, she stated that she will be seeking "professional guidance" after her embarrassing actions at a hotel in Palm Beach. She expressed that she is taking the initiative to admit herself into an alcohol treatment center, and is determined to turn over a new leaf. Additionally, she addressed all police officers, stating that she has the utmost respect for them and their profession, and that her drunken actions are not who she really is. 

The tweet was posted last Saturday, Dec. 30. It is important to note that de Lesseps did not specify exactly when she will be admitting herself into rehab.

As reported by Page Six, de Lesseps will still be doing her cabaret act titled "Countess and Friends." This act is slated to be de Lesseps' debut cabaret act, and it appears that she has every intention on pushing through with it despite her recent arrest. The act is scheduled to premiere on Feb. 27, as well as March 8 at the Feinstein's/54 in New York City. However, in the end, this may not be up to de Lesseps at all, and will depend on the ruling of the judge.

The act is to be loosely based on de Lesseps' life of glamor and luxury, and she will be performing with the popular staples of the New York City night life. The tickets are projected to be priced at between $40 and $75. Even with the arrest and her intention to go to rehab, the production for the act is still under way, with staff screening potential performers.
