The season for holiday sounds with sister duo Poema

Sister duo Poema have announced their digital holiday release, “Once A Year,” on November 16.

This five-song digital release features two original tracks and three classics.

After Christmas, Poema will continue to work on their full-length debut for 2011.

"We're so thankful to have been able to record this Christmas EP,” shares Poema. “Our earliest studio experiences were recording Christmas songs in our dad's studio, so recording this EP was almost like going back to our roots. It was really an incredible time. Also, being able to work with Aaron Marsh was marvellous! The collaboration turned into something wonderfully unanticipated, and we are extremely proud of it. We love the EP and hope the feeling is mutual for the listeners! Hopefully this is one of many to come!"

Tooth & Nail Records introduced the world to Poema with their debut EP, “Sing It Now,” earlier this year.

Shealeen and Elle, from Albuquerque, New Mexico grew up in a close-knit family where music was an integral part of their life. Shaeleen has been classically trained in piano for over 11 years, and Elle taught herself to play guitar. Poema describes their sound as “happy, acoustic-pop”.

The digital EP includes the following tracks:

1. Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas
2. Wool Coats*
3. Santa Will Find You
4. So Much More*
5. Little Drummer Boy
