Electronic Arts continues to update its current franchise installment "The Sims 4." Speculations suggest that after the recent expansion, next on the list is a city-themed DLC pack.

According to Neurogadget, a leak pertaining to an upcoming new DLC pack for "The Sims 4" surfaced recently. Reportedly, a fansite has uploaded an early video footage of an upcoming DLC pack dubbed "Vida Na Cidade," translated roughly as "Life in the City."

Aside from the supposed video leak, the industry follower also mentions some apparent hints on the current DLC release. In the new "The Sims 4: Backyard Stuff" DLC expansion, two of the in-game items supposedly hint on upcoming expansion content with cityscape designs. EA has also mentioned previously that a city-themed content is already in the works for "The Sims 4," including a new world called Metropolis. EA has supposedly described the new content as "Move into a bustling, modern city! Live in new apartments and penthouses eat food at carts and shop at street markets and immerse your sims in the different cultures of the city by exploring the many diverse neighbourhoods."

Meanwhile, industry follower surmise that a city-themed expansion is already expected to come out for "The Sims 4," since it ties in closely to recent DLC releases like the "Dine Out" expansion content. This will make the Sims explore more worlds outside of their neighborhood, and at the same time, opens up new possibilities for future expansion content.

Observers also believe that EA will need to expand "The Sims 4" gameplay and add content different from previous gameplay to make sure that a direct sequel will be possible. Reportedly, although "The Sims 4" is faring well among fans, it still needs to rack up the sales numbers in order to make "The Sims 5" a reality.
