Throughout season 7 of "The Vampire Diaries" Stefan (Paul Wesley) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) have been trying their best to stop their mother Lily (Annie Wersching), but in season 7 episode 8 the duo will have to focus their attention this time around on stopping Julian (Todd Lasance).

"Hold Me, Thrill Me, Kiss Me" indicates that there will be a lot of raw passion in the upcoming episode and the promotional trailer showcases that in spades. Julian and Lily will be throwing a party to celebrate the anniversary of Mary Louise (Teressa Liane) and Nora (Scarlett Byrne), which also serves as a distraction to let Julian execute another evil scheme.

However, it is hinted that Stefan and Damon's attempt to stop Julian might not go as planned and complications will ensue that may endanger their lives or the lives of their friends and companions. According to the official synopsis posted on ComicBookMovie, Lily might step in and make a difficult decision that could alter their situation forever.

The promotional trailer does show Julian gain the upper hand with Stefan and Damon completely in his clutches. It may be possible that the Heretics will put the two Salvatore brothers' life on the line.

As all of this occurs during the party, Valerie (Elizabeth Blackmore) and Caroline (Candice Accola) will have issues of their own. After learning that Valerie's child is Stefan's, a revelation that is set to shake Caroline's world, the latter may have to make a decision which she believes is best even if it means ending her relationship with Stefan.

The only sequence now shown in the trailer is the event that will take place three years later. Season 7 has taken the liberty of showing events that will happen in the near future, but unfortunately, the trailer has not showcased any glimpses at what fans should look forward to.

"The Vampire Diaries" season 7 episode 8 will air this Dec. 3.
