'The Voice' season 9: Final knockout predictions for top 12 contenders

NBC

"The Voice" season 9 has officially begun its Knockout Rounds, with singer Rihanna serving as the main coach for the 32 contestants. Two episodes have begun with six contestants eliminated and three others saved so they could advance to the Live Shows. A report from TVLine has emerged predicting who the top 12 contenders will be and may move forward to the final rounds in the show.

The list starts off with Morgan Frazier. She was recently defeated by Darius Scott in the most recent Knockout Round but was saved by judge/coach Blake Shelton. Second on the list is Ellie Lawrence, although she was defeated by Braiden Sunshine. The third is Zach Seabaugh, who has yet to compete in the Knockout Rounds this Nov. 2.

Keith Semple is also on the list of top contenders, and as predicted he defeated Dustin Christensen in the most recent Knockout Round. He is followed by Evan McKeel and Mark Hood, who have yet to perform in the next Knockout Round. Korin Bukowski is listed as well, and in the most recent Knockout Round, she beat Summer Schappell.

TVLine also listed Chane Peña; however, the singer was defeated by Ivonne Acero. Andi and Alex, the singing duo, were also listed, and like Chance, were also defeated during the Knockout Rounds, this time by Blaine Mitchell. Jeffery Austin, Emily Ann Roberts and Shelby Brown are also on the top contenders list and have yet to perform.

Acero is notable for being a contestant during the audition phases of "The Voice" season 8 while Semple is known for being disqualified from "American Idol" season 9 due to his residency concerns. He is also known as the victor in the competition show "Popstars: The Rivals."

The final Knockout Round will air on Nov. 2, and the winners will move forward with the show's Live Shows which will be the final segment of the "The Voice" season 9. The Live Shows will also contain the Playoffs and the Finals.
