The 14th season of "The Voice" premiered on Feb. 26 and gave audiences a fresh taste of what the battles between coaches Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Alicia Keys, and Kelly Clarkson would be like. Despite being the new kid on the chopping block, Clarkson has brought her A-game, and masterfully shut down the other coaches during the back and forths between singer auditions. According to E!, Clarkson definitely "stole the show."

Clarkson's debut also marked the first time the concept of "The Block" was introduced into the competition's mechanics. By using this, coaches can block the others from getting one -- and only one -- contestant out of the entire pick. This could prove to be detrimental to the coaches who are hell-bent on securing a great lineup of varied performers. Clarkson jokingly said that she felt the producers invented this because she was coming on the show, and that the other coaches are simply too afraid of her.

The premiere featured nine blind auditions, and Clarkson ended up getting three on her team, while the others equally had two at the end of the show. She did not mince words when dealing with pro-coach Shelton, whom she called "a tremendously great liar." Shelton blocked Levine during Britton Buchanan's blind auditions, and the male country star would not even admit to it.

Clarkson kept on butting heads with Shelton by reminding the viewers that despite the fact that he has the most wins on the show, there came a time when he previously called on her to become his Battle Round Advisor.

Now that it is her turn to be a coach, the Fort Worth, Texas native is enlisting the help of fan and friend Hailee Steinfeld as her Advisor for the Battle Rounds. It has also been reported that singer Shawn Mendes will be assisting Alicia Keys, while it will be Trace Adkins for Shelton and "Issues" singer Julia Michaels for Levine's camp.

Part 2 of the season premiere blind auditions will air on Tuesday, Feb. 27, 8 p.m. EST on NBC.
