In the next episode of "The Walking Dead," Rick Grimes' (Andrew Lincoln) plan to overthrow Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) and the Saviors finally starts to unfold.

The trailer for the upcoming installment titled "The Damned" was just recently released and showed Grimes' patrolling the freeway and carrying out his plan to destroy the Saviors with the help of the Alexandrians, Kingdommers, and Hilltoppers. The people of the Kingdom, headed by Ezekiel (Khary Payton), head to their positions to surround an outpost of the Saviors. It seems that they are about to attack the stronghold to get the weapons and ammunition. "We have come this far. Our first victory will allow our second. Our second will deliver our third. We will lose not one of our ranks," Ezekiel tells Carol Peletier (Melissa McBride) with conviction.

Grimes plans to bring the stolen guns to the sanctuary where more of his people will be able to use them and protect themselves. However, this will not be without any hang ups and obstacles. It appears Tara Chambler (Alanna Masterson) is threatening to mess up their objective because she wants to get her revenge on someone. Jesus Rovia (Tom Payne) warns her, "We are not here for revenge." It remains to be seen if Grimes' plan will come to fruition without anyone getting hurt.

In the last episode, Grimes and his groups lured a horde of zombies to Negan's stronghold. They were able to do this with Dwight's (Austin Amelio) information. Daryl Dixon (Norman Reedus) took out all of the lookouts so that Negan would not be notified of the oncoming horde. The Saviors' headquarters were overrun with zombies while Grimes and his people escaped unscathed.

"The Walking Dead" season 8 episode 2 will hit the airwaves on Sunday, Oct. 29 at 9 p.m. EDT on AMC.
