A character is making a surprise return to Genoa City in the coming episodes. "The Young and the Restless" spoilers indicate that J.T. Hellstrom (Thad Luckinbill) will be popping in town. So what does this mean?

As viewers would know, J.T. and Victoria (Amelia Heinle) are Reed's (Tristan Lake Leabu) parents. Victoria was previously seen talking to J.T. on the phone about Reed before he showed up at her doorstep earlier this year. Reed was then revealed to have run away from home partially because J.T., Mackenzie (Clementine Ford), and their son Dylan were moving to Poland, where J.T's security job would be based.

J.T. and Victoria ended up calling it quits years back, and a messy legal battle followed for custody of Reed. This resulted in J.T. gaining full custody of the teen. Of course, the negative influence caused by Victoria's own family somehow added fuel to the fire for J.T. to gain full custody. While this would certainly prove to be a big obstacle in their potential reunion, there is still a chance for these former flames to get back together.

So, what would this mean for her relationship with Billy (Jason Thompson)?

Well, Billy has recently proved that he truly loves Phyllis (Gina Tognoni) and has gone to great lengths just to make sure she knows it. It is safe to say that many assumed that Phyllis and Billy's relationship would not be as solid as Billy and Victoria's, but fans cannot deny that there is chemistry between the two of them. Should J.T. and Victoria decide to get back together, then it would leave Billy and Phyllis with each other, putting the love triangle to rest, at least for now.

Elsewhere in Genoa City, "The Young and the Restless" spoilers reveal that Hilary (Mishael Morgan) will continue to expose Jordan (Darnell Kirkwood), while exposing Chelsea (Melissa Claire Egan) in the process. Naturally, Chelsea will be reeling after that. It is no secret that she was a con artist back then, but there are still some things that she would rather keep to herself. She does not want anyone to know what she and Jordan were up to back in the day.

Of course, it would not have come to this had Chelsea decided to rat on Jordan to Hilary. Hilary did warn her that she can go down with Jordan should she refuse to cooperate, and when Hilary makes a threat, she usually means it.

Chelsea will definitely deal with some backlash thanks to Hilary's actions. She will hate getting dragged again. Chelsea worked hard to build a new life for herself, but Hilary's move certainly put a damper on that. She was not the same person that she was years ago. She did not even do anything to hurt Hilary either. She was only minding her own business and focusing on the future she was building with Nick (Joshua Morrow), Connor (Gunner and Ryder Gadbois), and Faith (Alyvia Alyn Lind).

Unfortunately, the scandal will reach Nick, and he will not be happy with what he learns about her. Nick might be able to accept the details, but he will not like the fact that Chelsea did not tell him about it. Then again, Chelsea has an even bigger secret that can come out at any time. She knows that he is not Christian's (Jude and Ozzy McGuigen) biological father, and has known about it all along. What makes it worse is that she is keeping this a secret with Victor (Eric Braeden). It seems that the trust issues are setting up the big paternity drama that will break them up later on.

Nick will confront her about what he heard next week and demand an explanation. Then again, Nick is not innocent when it comes to keeping secrets either. He is just as bad for knowing that Chloe (Elizabeth Hendrickson) faked her death and left Genoa City, and Victor helped her in doing so as well.

"The Young and the Restless" airs Mondays to Fridays at 1:30 p.m. EST on CBS.
