"Titanfall 2" developer Respawn Entertainment has released a new trailer that shows their vision of the single-player campaign mode for their upcoming game. The creative team behind the game talks about the wide variety of gameplay mechanics that players can experience once it is released.

The video was released with a caption that says: "Variety is what separates Titanfall 2 Single Player apart. Get a first look at how Jack and BT must combine their abilities and risk everything to survive together, and sometimes, apart. Whether fighting as a Pilot, the lightning-fast, elite guardians of The Frontier, or as a Titan, 20-foot-tall war machines, Titanfall 2 provides an action-packed adventure filled with fun."

Steve Fukuda, "Titanfall 2's" game director, excitedly shared that players will be able to experience different types of gameplay. There are a lot of factors that can contribute to the way an objective can be achieved.

Game designer Mackey McCandlish added that even the different loadout options for the Titans will present "different flavors" in the game. Bringing in heavy armaments would definitely bring down opponents instantly, but it will directly affect the player's physical abilities. On the other hand, a light loadout will provide all the maneuverability for these 20-foot robots, but gamers will need to unload more rounds to bring down the enemy.

"Titanfall 2" single-player campaign also offers light puzzles. The video clip showed a demonstration of the pilot's ability to run along walls and do a double jump to avoid an obstacle.

Players will also have "low-key moments." This will give them the time to think and further explore the environment around them. One scenario showed in the trailer was the choice between reaching an objective that is located on the right side or exploring the area on the left first.

Additionally, the team added that the single-player campaign mode would require the Pilot and its Titan to work together. Nevertheless, they can also work autonomously to reach a specific goal.

"Titanfall 2" is slated to be released on Oct. 28 on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC.
