Top smart home devices exhibited at the Consumer Electronics Show 2015

LG Twin Washer

A lot of innovative new products for the home were unveiled during last week's 2015 International Consumer Electronics Show, igniting the new smart home revolution. The items range from mundane to highly ground-breaking, promising to make the lives of homemakers worldwide a lot easier.

Here is a list of the most notable home improvement products that stood out during this year's CES in Las Vegas:

Parrot Pot

Those who are having trouble growing plants in their homes need not worry anymore. This product boasts a built-in water reservoir that manages to water plants automatically. It is connected via Bluetooth, which allows other smart devices to control the flower pot.

iKettle

The art of making tea requires precision, and some can't brew a decent cup to enjoy. They need not fret though because the new iKettle is here. This innovative tea kettle is connected to Android and iOS devices via Wi-Fi to help make the perfect cup. It can help the tea drinker select the right temperature, the best time to pour, as well as the proper time to refill.

Honeywell Lyric Security System

The Honeywell brand introduced the smart thermostat last year. This time, they are expanding the Lyric product line to cover home security system that includes a wall-mounted touch LCD that can respond to voice commands from the home owner. It also has smoke detectors, cameras, as well as motion and intrusion detectors.

Dacor Dual-Range Oven

Ever dreamt of cutting down on cooking tasks? Then Dacor Dual-Range Oven is now here to the rescue. This line of range ovens operate with voice commands, which means that home cooks can use their hands for other purposes.

LG Twin Wash

This is basically two washing machines in one. It means that the user can wash two loads of laundry using the top load as well as the smaller pull-out space underneath at the same time to lessen the time spent in the laundry room.

With the innovations displayed in this year's Consumer Electronics Show, it is very apparent that the smart home technology will blossom in the near future.
