Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor filed a restraining order against his neighbor harassing him and his family. The man apparently has been at it for six months, and Reznor said that it is all rooted on hatred.

Reznor decided to take things to court and filed legal documents to fend off his neighbor Nader Afshar. According to reports, the documents filed by Reznor state that Afshar told one of Reznor's friends that "Satan" is out to get the rockstar.

It is also included in the documents that Afshar has been harassing not only Reznor but his family as well. On Christmas Eve last year, Afshar scared Reznor and his kids for ranting, "rich people can do anything they want, but the Lord with get them in the end." Afshar was walking along the sidewalk looking untidy, while wearing an open shirt, shorts, and a Santa hat.

There were no instances of violence nor any form of harm mentioned in the documents. However, Reznor indicated that he is not taking any chances for Afshar to get physical with his hatred toward him.

Afshar is not allowed within 10 yards from Reznor, his family, and employees if they are on duty at the Reznor household. The restraining order is to keep his family safe from Afshar. There are no information from publications  regarding the reason behind Afshar's hatred toward Reznor.

A court hearing is set to take place next month to discuss the matter. There are no reports so far if Afshar reached out to Reznor to settle things or if he is also taking legal actions to defend himself.

Reznor, along with the other members of Nine Inch Nails, is taking a short break and will hit the stage soon. The band is scheduled to perform live in Germany, Czech Republic, France, Spain, and Japan starting June.
