'True Blood' season 7 spoilers: Back to basics, major character death expected
The seventh and final season of the hit vampire series "True Blood" will include one major death.
According to TV Guide, season 7 of "True Blood" will feature a major bloodbath and killing spree as the Hep-V vampires attack the town. Previous spoilers revealed that Hep-V infected vampires will attack the Bon Temps and a war will ensue and one of the casualties in the bloodbath could be one of the major characters. However, the identity of the particular character that will die is not yet revealed.
Meanwhile, Alexander Skarsgard spilled some details on the whereabouts of Eric. After Eric is not shown in the trailer of the season 7 of "True Blood", fans were getting worried whether Eric really died last season.
However, Skarsgard told TV Guide "He's surrounded by a lot of wet snow. That might give you a hint. The environment of northern Sweden helps him quite a bit."
Eric will most likely reappear on the second episode entitled "I Found You," which revealed Pam will continue to search for Eric. Many hoped that the title "I Found You" will give a hint on the fate of the two vampires. Viewers saw Eric on the last episode of the previous season bursting into flames under the sun. Many thought that he vanished.
Although Eric is not based in Bon Temps, fans can anticipate a hot scene between Skarsgard and Ryan Kwanten's Jason Stackhouse. "I think you can reasonably expect it. With our show there is an appetite," executive producer Brian Buckner said. This confirmed that Eric is still alive and will appear in the show next season.
The show creator also claimed that "True Blood" will go back to the basic for the season finale. Buckner said that the show will go back to its original premise.
"True Blood" season 7 will air on Sunday night, June 22 at 9pm on HBO.
