'Under the Dome' Season 2 spoilers: Dome's new threat, major deaths, and Barbie may be alive

Stephen King's "Under the Dome" will return to TV screens for season 2 this June 30. Although the season 2 premiere is just weeks away, many avid fans still can't wait to know what will be coming their way this new season. Well, here's some juicy treats to get the fans warmed up before the first episode airs.

"Under the Dome" season 2 first episode is "Heads Will Roll." That seems quite clear as to what fans can expect this season. To add, heads will keep on rolling throughout the second season too. E! News gave the scoop that there will be two major deaths in season 2. But wait, there's more.

E! News adds "Crazy, right? As if that wasn't shocking enough, we're hearing another major one is coming by the end of the season. One hint on one of the earlier send-offs? It's one of the series' younger stars." Who do you think will be killed off the show? There is speculation that the two major deaths will happen in the first episode alone. Wow! What a season opener that will be.

While there are people killed off the show, of course, there will be new characters entering the dome too. One of which is Sherry Springfield who will play Pauline, a woman who might be connected with the dome's origin.

The dome will be threatened once again. This time, it will be magnetized.

Barbie might be alive and will live to be a part of season 2. If Junior really does refuse to hang Barbie, he may survive it all.

It's really hard to be definite about season 2 spoilers, even if the novel is already out there. The show tends to deviate far away from the novel. In the season 2 preview video, executive producers Brian K. Vaughan shared that "The second season is going to take us to places where the book never got to go. Stephen King gave us some ideas we never imagined."
