Goodwin said that the Queen avoids getting intimate with Albert to prevent getting pregnant. The Queen feels that every time she becomes intimate with her husband, she gets pregnant.

Goodwin said that Victoria had six children in eight years. However, it appears that there are some gaps, which may manifest that the pair withholds intimacy for some time. Based on a letter from Albert, Victoria goes mad every time she is pregnant. It suggests that she is not in her right mind and that she might have inherited her insanity.

Victoria loves Albert, and she also likes going to bed with him. But she does not like getting pregnant all the time. When she is pregnant, Albert takes over her work and she feels displaced that way. She feels uncomfortable being pregnant and she even resents having a baby immediately after marriage.

The Queen wanted to enjoy her marriage with Albert first. However, she was not able to do that because she got pregnant at once. There is also a possibility that Victoria and Albert had pre-marital sex based on the gap between their marriage and the age of their eldest child.

"Victoria" season 3 will return in 2018 on ITV. It will start in 1848, which is an eventful year for the royal family and for Europe. Actors Coleman and Hughes will reprise their roles.
