Victoria's Secret Angel, Alessandra Ambrosio, might just be quitting her career in modeling for the prestigious fashion show. This may be devastating for Ambrosio's fans, especially since she has been one of the most popular Victoria's Secret Angels for a very long time now. Reports have stated that 2017 may be the last year of Ambrosio's modelling career.

In a report by Entertainment Tonight, the super model exclusively revealed to them that this year is indeed going to be her last one on the cat walk as a Victoria's Secret model. Specifically, the Victoria's Secret event scheduled at Shanghai, China, will be the last one in her slew of multiple commitments to the lingerie company. Ambrosio revealed the information, to the dismay of her fans, just a few hours before the actual event.

At this point, Ambrosio has dedicated 17 years of her life to the career of modelling, which is a grueling task in itself. Somewhere in between, she was able to juggle being a mother as well to her two children, nine-year-old Anja, and five-year-old Noah. Both of her kids are going to be her main focus after she calls it quits with Victoria's Secret. According to Fashionista, fans have caused quite a stir on social media after the announcement was made public.

Perhaps the biggest and most notable achievements that the Brazilian model had in her modelling career dates back to 2011, wherein she wore an estimated 30 pound set of wings — which at the time was the heaviest article of clothing ever worn by a Victoria's Secret Angel. Ambrosio is, without question, one of the hardest working models that has graced the roster of models for the lingerie brand.

However, Ambrosio has been snagging much attention before that, and was given the honor of being an ambassador for Victoria's Secret "PINK" lingerie line. Now that the news has been confirmed, fans can definitely expect the beloved Angel to walk the runway for the last time with a lot of flair.
