The live images provide the latest piece of the Vivo Xplay 5 puzzle as it bares the device's appearance in the flesh. Previous leaks regarding the device's design were only renders of the smartphone and not the actual one.

Just a couple of days ago, the handset was also the subject of an Antutu benchmark listing, where it easily trounced other smartphones in the database with a whopping 162,610 points. Prior to that, there already existed a considerable amount of reports and details about the device.

The Vivo Xplay 5 has everyone excited predominantly for the reason that it is the first smartphone to offer 6GB RAM. Other flagships haven't gone beyond 4GB RAM and they are already nippy and powerful. With such amount tucked in on the handset, it feels like a mini-computer.

It's a wonder what 6GB RAM would allow users to do. This immense amount of RAM is coupled with Qualcomm's latest and finest – the Snapdragon 820 processor. Media outlets imagine hefty battery power on par with the device's innards.

In the imaging department, users can expect a 16MP rear-facing shooter and an 8MP selfie snapper on the Vivo Xplay 5. The handset will sport a 5.5-inch Quad HD display. The Vivo Xplay 5 is rumored to feature a Hi-Fi 3.0 for pristine and unparalleled audio performance.

The Vivo Xplay 5 is rumored to be launched on March 1. There's no word on when it will be available for public consumption as well as its price range. Media outlets imagine a hefty price tag to account for the device's high-end specifications.
