With a few more days before "The Walking Dead" returns for its fifth season on AMC, fans have been looking forward to catching up with Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and his crew as they face the treacherous Terminus residents.

As Rick said his final words "They're screwing with the wrong people" at the end of the final episode of season four, the teasers released for "TWD" season five suggest how Rick will be transforming his kind nature into a more brutal one. While he and his group head into battle with walkers and cannibals alike, Rick will also focus on keeping everyone alive, especially his family.

Meanwhile, Lincoln's character can expect that his son will be his voice of reason this season five as opposed to his rebellious attitude in the previous season.

Potentially, there may be a cure to put a stop to the zombie apocalypse, although former Army officer Abraham and his friend Rosita are still to bring "ex-scientist" Eugene to Washington, D.C. to find such treatment.

Daryl has found his way to Rick, Michonne and Carl, but Beth has been kidnapped. Rick's baby, Judith, has been with Tyrese and Carol, who made a confession that she is responsible for the murder of Karen, Tyrese's girlfriend, when they were still hiding out in the prison and a fatal disease broke out.

Rick and the group have no idea that Carol, Tyrese and Judith are still alive. Rick also believes that Judith died when the Governor and his cronies attacked the prison in the previous season.

Meanwhile, Glenn and Tara have joined Sasha, Maggie and Bob as they seek out the rest of their surviving friends.

After reuniting at Terminus where they expected to find a proper sanctuary, its residents were not necessarily welcoming as they preferred to eat human meat. As such, Rick, Michonne, Carl, Daryl, Glenn, Maggie, Sasha and Bob had all been imprisoned.

With the message "Never again. Never Trust. We First, Always" smeared on the walls, the many questions about the history of Terminus have surfaced but fans are still to wait for the answers in just a few more days.

"The Walking Dead" season five hits the small screen on Oct. 12, Sunday, at 9 p.m. on AMC.
