Why Neville is leaving WWE: Creative differences to blame?

Real-life drama is brewing at the World Wrestling Entertainment. One of the biggest news to hit this week is Neville's walkout from Monday Night RAW last week.

According to reports, the Cruiserweight Champion left before the show started. To add to the drama, the British wrestling superstar may have asked the WWE to have him released before leaving the premises.

Insiders observed that the scandal came out at a bad time, just as the WWE was starting to gain traction on their show, RAW, where Neville played an important part.

A lot of unconfirmed reports are swirling regarding Neville's departure from the WWE. But what seems to be the most affected was the RAW event that happened last Monday. The main event was between Kalisto and Amore where the former won the Cruiserweight Championship belt.

Supposedly, that was not the original program flow. At first, Neville was the one that was supposed to face Amore and lose. If the reports are to be believed, having to lose to Amore twice could have been too much for the King of the Cruiserweights.

Losing two matches against Amore may not have been the first instance of a WWE superstar deciding to call it quits and leaving the company. Austin Aries also left WWE earlier this year under similar circumstances. Aries was moved to 205 Live only to leave all of a sudden after some creative disagreement. Neville and Aries' reason for departure held more weight after Aries sent out an enigmatic tweet that seemed to target WWE.

Neville was the first wrestling superstar to be added to the cruiserweight division to help the WWE gain traction, which was then followed by Aries. In recent months, WWE has leveled-up their game when it comes to marketing their brand. Kalisto was also added to the ranks and in less than a fortnight became the show's champion.
