"Fast and Furious" actor Tyrese Gibson had been vocal in his struggles on his ongoing court battles against his former wife, Norma, for the custody of their 10-year-old daughter, Shayla.

Gibson had shocked everyone, including other celebrities, when a video of him crying and at times being hysterical surfaced as he talked about the court battles that had allegedly left him broke. Actors Will Smith and wife Jada came to Gibson's rescue by donating $5 million for legal fees. Gibson, probably out of his excitement, took it to Instagram to share the news.

Along with the price, the Smiths had asked Gibson to keep away from the Internet. " You've guys asked me to get off and stay off the Internet now that my daughters legal fees will be paid ! will listen..... The Smiths's and their whole family has always shown up for The Gibson's Uncle Will you're an uncle for real," the caption of a photo of him and Will read.

Norma had accused Gibson of physically abusing her and their child, but this was strongly denied by the actor. Aside from this, the 38-year-old actor alleged that his wife was just throwing false allegations to tarnish his reputation, which he claimed was what had happened during the battles that had left him financially short.

His beef with Dwayne Johnson was also publicized after Gibson uploaded on his Instagram his accusations against the wrestler, who will star in a "Fast and Furious" spinoff with Jason Statham, to be released in 2019. Gibson claimed that the spinoff was the reason for the delay of the release of the ninth installment of the "Fast and Furious" franchise to 2020. It was originally slated for a 2019 release.

An E! News source said that Will was known to be kind and generous, especially to those who need it. The insider also revealed that the "I Am Legend" actor would go the extra mile to help his friends and family.
