Will Graham is stepping out of his comfort zone as an evangelist by delving into acting and portraying his grandfather, Billy Graham, in the movie "Unbroken: Path to Redemption."

Will said it was intimidating for him to act, but he relied on prayer to help him get through the challenges, according to The Daily Independent. "It was a privilege, but I have to say that I was nervous. I'm a preacher, not an actor," he said. "I was only doing in the movie what I do in life, and I was praying that God would give me the ability to do it. I was definitely out of my comfort zone, but that just meant that I had to rely on God more."

The film is a documentary about the life of Louis "Louie" Zamperini, the Second Lieutenant in the Army Air Forces who became a prisoner of war in World War II. Zamperini was tortured by the Japanese, but he survived the ordeal. However, he became an alcoholic when he eventually returned to the U.S. and dealt with post traumatic stress disorder.

His life only changed in 1949 when he attended one of Billy Graham's crusades in Los Angeles, California. After hearing Billy preach, Zamperini decided to dedicate his life to God and become an evangelist himself.

Because of the impact made by Billy in Zamperini's life, Will said it was important for him to take part in the movie. "There are a lot of Louies in this life, and we want this movie to have an impact on people's lives on a spiritual level and bring more people to God," he said.

Earlier, Will said that it's a blessing to be called by God to share the gospel, according to CBN. "Like my father and grandfather before me, I'm blessed to have been able to answer a call to evangelism," he said. "But knowing how God used Billy Graham in Louie Zamperini's life, I couldn't pass the opportunity to portray him in this inspiring story."
