Microsoft is focused on releasing Windows 10 Mobile Anniversary update but it will not be available in all mobile devices.

According to a report by Gadgets 360, Microsoft removed the devices that are ineligible for the update. Windows Insider Program, Dona Sarkar assured that they are focused on delivering an update worthy of the wait to allay fears of delay after the Windows 10 Anniversary Update rolled out recently.

"Right now, the team is laser-focused on preparing to release the Windows 10 Anniversary Update to Mobile devices and we think we're almost ready. You can help us out by making sure you are running Build 14393.67 (KB3176931) on your phone and sending in feedback on any issues you run into via the Feedback Hub. Our team is determined to make sure we release a high quality build to our customers and your feedback really makes a difference," she said.

Meanwhile, the company has confirmed some reports that some of the users who have installed Windows 10 anniversary update have been suffering from freezing issues.

According to its forum moderator, the issues stemmed from users who installed the anniversary update and stored the OS on the SSD with the apps data stored in a separate drive and not those who have started Windows 10 in Safe Mode.

The moderator assured that they will be posting updates on the thread to address the issue as quickly as possible or as soon as any developments come up.

As an alternative solution, the company is advising users to revert to Windows 10 Version 1511, or the November update.

Unfortunately, according to the report, this will only work if users have installed the update in the last 10 days.

The company has assured that it is working continuously to provide a better fix for the problem and will be posting updates as soon as they become available.
