Will Windows 10 come out as scheduled? Will it be bug-free?

After revealing the Windows 10 last January, the said OS is said to be coming on smoothly and if all goes well, the Microsoft OS could be out by June. But to do so, the Microsoft team will have to fast-track things for a potential third release which in all could include bugs and crashes in the process.

Gabriel Aul, general manager for data and fundamentals team for Microsoft's Operating System Group, warned users who are in the Microsoft Windows 10 technical preview that if they are wary about risks of bugs and crashes, they are advised to move to the Slow Ring for lower risks.

With the company failing to release any new builds last month, Microsoft plans to speed up things and hopefully gain some headway. But along with that comes the possibility of incurring the bugs and fixes, particularly for the users in the Fast Ring program.

The Fast "release ring" for Windows 10 came out in October in an effort to fast-track the next Windows OS. The last major WTP build was on January 23, 2015. And should they pick up the pace, there is a possibility of a new build coming on April 15.

Further, Aul bared that a third ring could be released which would deliver faster Windows 10 updates. But from the looks of it, this would only happen if they are able to prove that the Fast Ring is not properly maximized.

Finally, Aul could not say as well when the next Windows 10 build would come around. But for people who want to keep tabs on it, they are encouraged to check out the Insider Hub app to be kept up to date. The app comes with the build of the OS.
