The third and final piece of "Wolfenstein 2" downloadable content titled "The Deeds of Captain Wilkins" will be here in no time. Bethesda has confirmed that the expansion launches on PS4, Xbox One and PC on Wednesday, March 13.

Wrapping up the "Freedom Chronicles" series of side stories - following previous expansions "The Adventures of Gunslinger Joe" and "The Secret Diaries of Agent Silent Death" - "The Deeds of Captain Wilkins" brings the titular United States Army hero into battle on a mission to a Nazi-occupied Alaska. Captain Gerald Wilkins will join his former comrades in an effort to specifically destroy a deadly new weapon called The Sun Gun.

This "Wolfenstein 2" DLC will be available as part of the $25 "Freedom Chronicles" DLC pass or for purchase separately starting at midnight on PS4 and Xbox One. Stream users, on the other hand, can get their hands on the game earlier at 7 p.m. EST/11 p.m. GMT. It will be free for Season Pass holders while the rest can purchase it separately for only $10/ £8.

Should the DLC fail to appear as part of the Season Pass, Newsweek suggests waiting for Bethesda to update the game's store pages closer to launch. If the update is still unavailable after midnight, it is recommended to keep an eye on the Bethesda Twitter account for updates.

"Wolfenstein 2: The New Colossus was released as a sequel to 2014's "A New Order" in October last year for consoles and PC. At some point later this year, the game will be making the transition to the Switch, although it remains to be confirmed whether it will include all DLCs beforehand or it will be available separately on the e-Shop.
