"Wonder Woman 2" may have just found its supervillain in Kristen Wigg.

The comedienne, who famously led the all-female team in the "Ghostbusters" remake, is reportedly in talks to take on the role of Cheetah, according to Deadline.

Cheetah, in all her various identities, is arguably Diana Prince's greatest enemy in the DC Comics, with the Dr. Barbara Ann Minerva from "Rebirth" being the most well-known to the mainstream. As previously reported, the character is an archaeologist working with Diana at a French museum, who earned superhuman strength, speed, appearance, and hunger of a cheetah after stumbling upon an ancient ritual in the lost city of Urzkartaga.

Further details about the casting are being kept under wraps, but it is rumored that director Patty Jenkins "personally picked" Wiig for the part after Emma Stone turned down the offer.

Wiig made a name for herself as one of the most talented comediennes in Hollywood. She has notably been a part of NBC's "Saturday Night Live" and appeared in a few comedy flicks like "Bridesmaids" which she also co-wrote. Assuming she lands the "Wonder Woman 2" role, it would mark her first villainous role and her next action gig, following 2016's "Ghostbusters."

To give fans a glimpse of what Wiig would look like in the Cheetah mantle, famed digital artist BossLogic created a fan art of the actress today. Check it out below:

Of course, Wiig's casting is without any confirmation from DC or Warner Bros. yet, so fans should take the report with a grain of salt.

"Wonder Woman 2" is currently developing its screenplay, moving out of what DC producer Charles Roven called "soft prep" into "hard prep." The studios have yet to announce the start of production, but they are reportedly planning to start filming sometime this summer for the film's Nov. 21, 2019 release.

Starring Gal Gadot in the titular role, the movie will be set in the 1980s in America, with the conflict of Cold War prominent.
